This is a rare Large Heavy Clydesdale Horse Society of GB and Ireland Prize medal in box won by the Horse ‘Clemency’ at the Tyneside Agricultural Show in 1922 . A truly superb medal in box produced by Edward Jewellers & Silversmiths , Buchanan Street Glasgow . The Tyneside Agricultural Society became affiliated to the Clydesdale Horse Society in 1909 and each year a medal was provided to be competed for at one of their shows . This large Bronze medal awarded in 1922 to Clemency is confirmed in the 1924 Stud Book. A truly superb item for the Heavy Horse / Clydesdale Horse enthusiast. Please see pics .
