The bear is in excellent condition: with all usual signs of handmade quality; stitching closures, hump in back. Its paws are a rare yellow and match the front of the box. The box is wooden and has the bear pic on the front. The lid perfectly slides up to reveal the beautiful bear. There are two velvet runners under neath the box to protect from scratching.
