Platter, oval, 14 inches by 10.5 inches. Rose pink with blue design of fruit and foliage. Stamped on back with crown and “From William Mortlock and Sons 19 Regent Street London”. This was a prominent China warehouse most active in 1860s selling high quality ceramics. This platter is in good condition with no cracks or chips and no cracking to the glaze. The pink may have a bit of colour fade or may have been like this from the start. We have not found any similar ceramic plates to make a comparison.
