Lovely little pepper mill branded as Peter Piper pepper mill - solid silver body with london hallmark for 1963 and makers mark Park Green and co Ltd who were pepper mill manufacturers High Holborn London WC1 between 1955 and 1981. Good working condition although 1 small screw is missing from the retaining bar - it does still work without this and you unscrew the top to refill. Just under 8cms tall - weighs 115 grams although this includes the grinder mechanism which is not silver - all 3 parts of main body are hallmarked - (body lid and screw on top ) I have used it for the last 8 years on the dining table - gives a fine grind.
