Rare and highly unusual goblet or chalice, possibly pewter. I discovered this whilst digging in our garden several years ago, the house is 17th century in origin and the chalice was found several feet down in the earth. I don’t know how old it is or what it’s made from but it appears to have a mark to the base ‘288 / H’ in what looks to me like an 18th century script but could be earlier. Definitely one to do more research on! Pewter
