This is a beautiful MATCHING PAIR of VICTORIAN ANTIQUE BRASS TRIVETS with MASONIC EMBLEMS and the motto OUR AIN FIRE SIDE cast into the design. Mid 19th century. The trivets both measure approx 5 1/4 inches (130mm) long, by 4 inches (110mm) wide, and are made from solid brass. To find a matched pair is very unusual! Around 150 years of use, have still left them in very good shape, with no damage or repairs! They are very good examples of their type and they would still be fine to use today, and would make beautiful display pieces, or be a great addition to any collection. Please see photos for condition & type. Please remember you are bidding on two, not one! weight for both approx 310 grams. Shipping and packaging are at cost, with no profit.
