This is a vintage Griswold No. 9 Cast Iron Long Griddle 746 and it's sweet. Coming in with a cooking surface of 21" in length and 9⅕" in width, it's huge. From tip to tip, the piece is 24". The cooking surface is spectacular and ready to cook without food sticking. The handles carry the delightful Griswold font 9 with an underline just to make sure you know it is not a measly 6. Now to the back. Clearly the piece has experienced some pitting on the back side. Luckily, it is the back! The pitting has left the logo and type fuzzy, but still legible.
