An antique sterling silver double stamp case with a sliding opening action, dense floral engraving, red cabochon slide button, and gilt interior. It is stamped as being made by A.Bros, with the exterior hallmark indicating Sterling Silver, Birmingham, 1906. It has a silver-gilt double compartment interior, one compartment stamped PATENT to indicate a construction patented by Birmingham Silversmiths the Ahronsberg Brothers. A second hallmark can be seen on the underside of the cover, again dated to 1906. It is in good condition with wear commensurate with its age, and has had only light cleaning with a soft cloth to retain its naturally aged patina.
