Made using the traditional technique of lost wax, typical of tribal artisans from Bastar Chhattisgarh (Central India). Piece unique, with a powerful model, presenting an iconography particularly rare : Ganesh playing shehnai nagaswaram, an instrument close to that used by snake charmers (a sort of oboe), facing a trained cobra. HASRadiant solar halo, base decorated with concentric tribal motifs. Very good general condition, old brown-black patina, some normal signs of wear.
