Authentic vintage Japanese box. I believe that this was produced around 1920/1930. It shows a shrine type scene. Underside of box has a wave pattern. Good vintage condition. There are a few marks and the silver tone has worn a little to show what appears to be a copper tone underneath. Bottom has a few minor dents as you would expect from an item of this age. Inside of lid has marks (not accidental dents) of were the pattern on the top has been imprinted. Hinge works fine. Quite heavy for its size, weighs 109g so metal type maybe antimony. Please check all photos before bidding as they form part of the description. UK postage only.
