For sale is a beautiful late-Victorian solid sterling silver hand mirror made by the prestigious silversmith William Comyns. The back features a stunning repoussé design of Reynolds' Angels floating in clouds surrounded by a textured border. The silver is fully hallmarked on the back side with the William Comyns maker's mark (W.C), the London leopard's head, the sterling lion passant, and the date letter 'b' for 1897. Condition: very good condition mirror glass is original, bevelled, has a few spots as can be seen in photo and a few slight scratches but still excellent condition for age.
