George Butler of Sheffield EPNS Silver Plate Canteen consisting of 44 vintage cutlery pieces in the Cavendish pattern. Original presentation case. Set consists of 6 table knives and forks, 6 dessert knives and forks, 6 soup spoons, 6 dessert spoons, 6 teaspoons and 2 serving spoons. There are some light marks/scratches from use. Cutlery has not been used for many years, so will need a good polish to restore it to its shiny state. The box has been ‘modified’ with a couple of nails, presumably to prevent the knife section from falling forward. The photos show this. This is a very heavy item.
