Rare collectable vintage English 1940s Bentima mantel clock with pendulum movement and beautiful hourly spring chime. Famously reliable Perivale mechanism with original key and detachable pendulum. The oak case is in good condition apart from a small chip on the right hand side (please see pictures carefully). The clock works temperamentally. Without pendulum attached it goes for a few minutes then stops, then starts going suddenly again. With pendulum on, goes for a minute or so but then stops. I guess it just needs a good tuning and professional cleaning to the wind-up spring. Chime mechanism is in good order.
